The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) has confirmed the date and venue for the IPL 2025 mega auction. After speculating long and hard regarding the host of the auction, the board has decided Riyadh will be the venue. A report last month suggested the same, with Jeddah, Vienna, Singapore, Dubai, and London named as the potential hosts for the event.
For some time, it’s been claimed that the IPL mega auction will be held in the last week of November and that it’ll clash with the India vs Australia 1st Test. According to ANI, the dates for the auction are November 24–25. This confirms that the two mega events will clash as the Perth Test will be played from November 22-26.
